WiZZ Partnerships - Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply when you become a WiZZ Partner.

These terms and conditions were last updated on 6 February 2009.

1. Explanations

1.1 "You", "partner" and "WiZZ Partner" means the person who submits the form to register a WiZZ Partnership for a WiZZ destination.

 

1.2 "Your website" means the website located at the URL you provide as part of the registration process, and as updated by you in the future.

 

1.3 "We", "us", "WiZZ" and "WiZZ.to" mean WorldWide WiZZard Propriety Limited, a company registered in Australia, Australian Business Number 51 095 701 063.

1.4 A "destination" or "WiZZ destination" in the context of this agreement means a geographic part of the world as determined by WiZZ. A WiZZ destination is usually a major town or city and its surroundings not covered by another city or town listed in the WiZZ database.

 

1.5 WiZZ is a registered trademark of WorldWide WiZZard Propriety Limited.

 

1.6 From time to time we review and update these terms and conditions. If we make any significant changes, we will inform you of these changes. Unless you cancel your WiZZ Partnership as soon we inform you of the changes, the updated terms and conditions will apply to you.

 

1.7 The terms and conditions of our free account also apply when you register a WiZZ Partnership.

2. What you can expect from WiZZ

2.1 WiZZ.to destination page:

Your website will appear as a framed page on the WiZZ.to Travel Guide website when visitors follow the links provided on maps, menus and our search.

Premium partners only: The framed page will have a link to view your website outside the frame, which will open your website in a new window.

 

2.2 Premium partners only: No other WiZZ Partner can represent your destination in the WiZZ.to Travel Guide for as long your Premium partnership has not expired or has not been canceled.

 

2.3 Standard partners only: No other Standard WiZZ Partner can represent your destination in the WiZZ.to Travel Guide. Your destination will be available to be represented by a Premium WiZZ Partner, and this will cancel your partnership.

 

2.4 Keywords:

WiZZ.to will add your choice of keywords (maximum 200 characters) to the WiZZ Search database, and to the 'keywords' meta-tag of your WiZZ.to destination page.

 

2.5 Alternative name:

Premium partners only: You can choose an alternative name for the destination you want to represent: WiZZ.to will change all references to your destination in the WiZZ.to Travel Guide (maps, menus, database etc), and in the WiZZ.travel directory.

2.6 WiZZ.to Travel Guide listing:

We will link to your website from your WiZZ.to country or region page, using your chosen title (max 80 characters), description (max 500 characters) and image.

Premium partners only: Your listing can also include a further five links to other sections on your site.

 

2.7 More information page (Mini-site):

WiZZ.to will create a page on the WiZZ.to Travel Guide with content you provide.

You can include images and more information about your destination and your website.

Premium partners only: You can also

  • include a further five links to other sections of your site (see also clause 2.6)
  • link any of your content to permanent pages on your site, and
  • add a RSS feed.

 

2.8 WiZZ.travel directory Priority listing:

Premium partners only: Your WiZZ.to Travel Guide listing and your More information page (Mini-site) will be copied to the WiZZ.travel directory, as a Priority listing at no extra cost.

Your Priority listing will be the only listing shown on the WiZZ.travel page for your destination, and will also be linked from the "Travel Guides" subcategory for your destination.

 

2.9 WiZZ.travel Sponsorship:

Premium partners only: You can advertise your website for free on the WiZZ.travel directory page for your destination and any subcategory.

 

2.10 WiZZ Custom Search Engine:

Premium partners only: We will add the URL of your website to our Google Custom Search. This allows our visitors to search your site from the WiZZ.to Travel Guide.

 

2.11 WiZZ Live News:

Premium partners only: You can publish any tourism or travel news on the WiZZ.to homepage, and on a country specific page and will be linked to the your Mini-site.

 

2.12 Featured listing:

Premium partners only: Your listing will be regularly featured on the WiZZ.to Travel Guide homepage and the WiZZ.travel directory homepage.

 

2.13 Google map of your destination:

Premium partners only: A Google map will automatically be added to Premium WiZZ Partners' Mini-sites where available.

3. What WiZZ.to and other WiZZ Partners expect from you

3.1 You understand that you become part of an international network whose aim is to increase visitor numbers to all partner websites.

 

3.1.a The web page at the URL you submit to be included in your WiZZ.to destination page, should not include code that results in WiZZ.to visitors leaving the WiZZ.to Travel Guide website automatically (like frame busters).

 

3.1.b You will provide tourism and travel information relevant to your destination to be included on the WiZZ websites (To be used for your mini-site and listings) within 30 days of the date you register to represent your destination.

 

3.2 You agree that your website will meet the following requirements:

 

3.2.a You will try to include the best possible tourism and travel information possible for your destination on your website. Minimum requirements include reasons why your area is worth visiting, and a list of accommodation for most budgets (provided by you or a third party).

3.2.b You will keep your website user-friendly.

 

3.2.c You understand that WiZZ websites are visited by people from different ages, cultures and beliefs, and you agree to exclude any material that could be deemed to be offensive.

4. Cancellation and termination

4.1 After you register as a WiZZ Partner, you should submit your additional data (URL, keywords, details for your listing on WiZZ.to and WiZZ.travel etc) within 30 days. Failing to do so will result in cancellation of your partnership.

 

4.2 This agreement can be terminated by you at any time by submitting a support ticket.

 

4.3 This agreement can be terminated by us when your website fails the requirements detailed in clauses 3.1 and 3.2.

 

4.4 Our decision to terminate this agreement because your website does not meet the requirements as set out in clauses 3.1 and 3.2, will be at WiZZ's sole discretion, but we will give you every opportunity to meet the requirements once we become aware that your website does not meet the requirements.

 

4.5 Premium partners only: Your Premium WiZZ Partnership will revert to a Standard WiZZ Partnership after twelve months unless you renew your Premium partnership before it expires.

 

4.6 Standard partners only: Your Standard WiZZ Partnership will be canceled when a partner registers a Premium WiZZ Partnership to represent your destination.

 

4.7 WiZZ reserves the right not to enter into proposed agreements. Any fees paid will be immediately refunded.
