AAA Tourism, on behalf of Australia's motoring organisations, rates accommodation establishments throughout Australia. Absence of a rating simply means that the property has either yet to be rated, has chosen not to be rated or has recently upgraded or renovated and is yet to be re-rated.
What to do on the Central Coast
On the NSW Central Coast you will find plenty of things to do for the whole family. There are golf courses, National Park bushwalks, shopping everywhere with boutiques, markets, galleries and an assortment of shopping centres. There is swimming, sailing, fishing, surfing, kayaking and boating at beaches like Terrigal and Avoca just to name two classic, well known spots. You can dine at the many cafés and restaurants and, if you like a drop or two of quality vino, the Hunter Valley showcases wine and fine foods less than 50 minutes away.
Many people come to the Central Coast for the beautiful beaches, waterways and the Hinterland. You can discover quiet sandy coves for a picnic, beaches for families with children or for surfing or even take surfing lessons - or go scuba diving and snorkeling.
There are charter fishing companies that can help you find the best locations to fish – or try your hand at deep sea fishing. If you are into sports, there are excellent sporting clubs and facilities. Many of the Central Coast accommodation providers also have sporting equipment available or for hire.
